As the day and night come into equilibrium, a yang to yin yoga practice celebrates a balance of energies – the heat of the day and the cool of the night.
The yang energy of Vinyasa Yoga is connected to heat, light and the fiery energy we associate with the sun. We will move through a series of poses linked in flows, connecting them to the breath for an energising practice.
Our Yin Yoga practice will tap into the cooler, softer, darker energy of the night. It is a slower-paced practice where poses are held for longer, working into the deep tissues, joints and connective fascia in the body. Using props to support and enhance our practice, we will move through a set of long-held poses.
